Vince
Morlet started Tapenade Bistro in 2003 with the idea of bringing
a downtown urban bistro to Steveston.
Born in Los Angeles to French parents, Vince was raised on many of the French
classics that he serves and features at the Bistro. Before opening the Tapenade
Bistro Vince had been a veteran of the Vancouver area restaurant business since
1985. Through the 1990's Vince had lived in Paris then Brazil and spent a couple
of years traveling around the world. Many of the dishes, ideas and décor
are inspirations from these travels as well as Vince's French heritage.
Vince continues to educate himself on wine and food and through the years has
also accomplished his BA from Simon Fraser University as well as an associate
degree in Hospitality Management.
These days along with running the bistro, Vince is busy educating his young
son, Tristan in food (one day in wine!)
